PUMSA Malaysian Night 2013

PUMSA Malaysian Night is back !! And this year they are bringing an original takes on Puteri Gunung Ledang !! Hit the jump to know more.


As an annual event, PUMSA (Purdue University Malaysian Students Association) Malaysian Night (or simply known as Malaysian Night) is their biggest event for fall semester. After their last year success  with the theme "From Malaysia with Love", they decided to bring one of the most popular folklore in Malaysia; Puteri Gunung Ledang (Princess of the Mount Ledang).

Puteri Gunung Ledang is a very well known story not just among Malaysian but sometimes throughout the world after the successful Puteri Gunung Ledang the Musical. However, PUMSA will bring their own takes on the story to provide an original yet enjoyable experience for this year event. 

Similar as last year, Malaysian Night will be divided into two session. The first one will be now re-branded as The Malaysian Experience (previously known as Pre-Malaysian Night)  that will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church  Basement located at W State St. across Purdue University Stewart Center. While the second part which is the stage performance will be held at Fowler Hall located inside the Stewart center itself. Below is more details on the event itself:
